We won The Open University in Scotland SME Enterprise of the Year award!

We won! You may have seen earlier on in the week our announcement that we made the shortlist for the Open University of Scotland SME Enterprise of the Year Award as part of the SCDI awards.

The award was given to a small or medium sized business, social enterprise or third sector organisation in the Highlands & Islands that has demonstrated outstanding commitment to or achievement of development of their staff or the promotion of diversity and equality in their organisation, with their customers or in their communities.

We were delighted to be shortlisted alongside Aquascot and Mikeysline, both of which are companies doing incredible work. The awards ceremony itself was a virtual event using the Remo platform, hosted by Alistair McGowan. There were ten awards in total, all celebrating the many successful businesses in the Highlands and Islands.

Attending the awards filled us with such pride, hearing about the incredible companies that we have in the Highlands and Islands. Often, it’s assumed that our geographical location is a barrier to building a business, and last night was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our Highlands and Islands economy.

We have achieved a lot over the last five years, and we are excited to see how Mesomorphic and Silicon Croft develop over the next five. We have some wonderful opportunities in the pipeline which we look forward to sharing with you, so make sure you’re following us on LinkedIn and Twitter!
